Happy 1st Birthday to Pulse!
I have to agree this was a great show. I especially liked the start of it when Ric got a nice birthday present from some of his teammates. It just goes to show how much they admire you Ric. Keep up the great work. On a side note I hit 169.4db, finished 2nd, in box battle with a measly 500 watts. |

that score was insane matt!!!
and you are right... my teammates got me a very nice gift. some people on here may be surprised to know that EVERY BOX i have built has been with a circular saw. lol i know, i know... what kind of shop doesn't have a table saw. this one... why, b/c i spent every last dime i had to get the store open, and it didn't leave room for buying a table saw. i have been building boxes with a circular saw since 1994, so it was all good. well, my friends and teammates got together and gave me a table saw for my birthday. it was totally unexpected and VERY MUCH APPRECIATED! I love these guys/gals. so thank you very very much!! gary was biting at the bit the day before, b/c the day before the show i built TWO very large boxes, both for Chevy s10Blazers, one for two DD3515 and the other for FOUR DD1512. each box was about 9cubes. all birch, with double panel tops. i built both boxes in the same day! even with a circular saw, i dont play. ![]() |

i dont know why it wont let me edit the thread... but...
another competitor at the show was overlooked somehow...i can only excuse it to i was tired as heck when i made the thread. Team Pulse member GARY WEBB with two DD3515 and a Powerbass xta4000d, Batcap 4000. His score at the show was a 149.8dB in a Chevy S10 Blazer. I built the box the night before the show (also Chris Webster's box) and didn't get a chance to tune it in, so it was quickly tuned up before the show by ear, and still got an amazing 149.8dB! I definately see a 150+dB out of this truck! Congrats Gary! |

its not a matter of getting picked up I'm just a busy person these days i have one business and i'm working on the start up of a second. i have been a customer of rics for what 5 years or so... its just audio has to take a back seat and i have to stay focused on my goals i work 7 days a week. my wife is also working on her own business as well at some point i will be able to get back into it full force but for now i just have to keep my head down and work. the only time i get to go to rics shop any more is if im going to the cabinet shop across the street to drop off a bill or discuss an up coming project we just did 60 rooms in granite for them in ocean city.. every dime i have is invested in tools and stock and im waiting for it to start paying off that day is coming soon.....
