ive had mine since they cam out and they are nice but some things to note. they are not shielded and mess up tvs/monitors over time. my monitor started to turn green around the sides but i caught it in time. a foot distance or angled seem to do the trick. the remote sucks if you use it alot. the volume up is inconsistent and both the up and down have flaked off from the inside with use. i move mine alot and they need to be close to a wall to get good bass output but i got a seperate mtx sub and run them with the high pass on and they are awsome.

Sick Audio........It Htz

So someone really has the "old school" (tube) monitors and tv's nowadays?? I think at least over here you haven't been able to even buy one in years... TFT's don't care about magnets.

Hmm... TFT's and Plasma's really should be immune to magnets. There are plenty of articles about this too. It's only CRT's that get phucked up. I don't know what's the deal in your case, needs a closer study...

im not worried about it. this was with them right against the side of the panel and i think the other case they were on top. but if anyone is wondering these do have a slight magnetic leak around the sides. i first noticed it with my 32" tube tv that i still have in the living room lol. but these are matched up with my 50" plasma in my room and no problems. they sound awome with the lights off watching a movie and i can turn them to the door and fill the house with music and still sound amazing for what they are even when im singing along in the shower lol. my 5.1 aiwa theater system is in the hall closet since i really dont need it anymore and its pretty big. i loan it out for house parties
